2008: Static Display (Nederland, CO)

As we passed through Nederland we came across three RR cars that have been joined together to make into a business. The main car of this configuration is a passenger coach that says Burlington across the top and C&S #544 on the side. These cars were once part of the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West and Pioneer Exhibition Train.

2008: Miscellaneous (Clear Creek Canyon CO)

Took some time while driving along Clear Creek on US-6 back on May 30th to photograph various Flat Cars that are today being used as private bridges. Using Google Earth I have identified their location via GPS rather than by city.

2008: Static Display (Black Hawk, CO)

Our next stop was just a few miles down the road to Black Hawk where a static display of CC #71 sits along the river bank.

2008: Static Display (Central City, CO)

It took until May 30th to have any Railfan photographs but 2008 will turn out to be another year of enjoyment to share.

First stop in 2008 will be in Central City, CO where a static display of C&S #71 and #20 sits on a high pedestal.
