World Travel – Greece 2007 – Part II

We finally leave Athens and head initially south to the Temple of Poseidon. We then head back north and cross the Corinth Canal to Peloponnisos. Here we see the Temple of Apollo, Mycenae Line Gate and ruins and the Beehive Tombs, the Amphitheater of Epidaurus, then onto Nafplio where we see the Bourtzi Fortress and then pass though Mikine / Mykhnia on our way to Dytiki Ellada.

It so amazing to see so much ancient history that you studied as a child in person like this.

Before we leave Florence we walk to yet one more plaza and visit its wonderful church where there just happens to be a couple of interesting folks that are buried inside.
